No open roles right now.

We still want to hear from good designers, engineers and specialists. Introduce yourself, and when a role opens that fits, we’ll look at introductions first.

Introduce yourself

Working here

What the work is like.

  • Hybrid, from Holywell

Time together at the office in Holywell, North Wales, and focused days working from home.

  • Close to the decisions

The people who design and build a product are in the room when it is scoped, not handed a brief afterwards.

  • Products of our own

We run SoulCare and SimRhythm alongside client work, so releases, support and upgrades are part of the job.

  • Every discipline at one table

Design, engineering, applied AI and cloud work side by side, so you see how the parts of a product connect.

What you’d learn

The rules behind the screens.

Software in these sectors has to respect real regulation. These are the rules our industry pages cover, and the ones the work is designed around.

AI work follows the same habit: models draft and sort, and a named person makes the decisions that matter. How we approach applied AI.

What we value

How we like to work.

More about the studio ↗
  1. Start with context

Understand the people, constraints and existing tools. In home care, that meant a coordinator, a carer and a family all looking at the same visit.

  2. Think in systems

Design the visible journey and the structure behind it. In SoulCare, one visit record feeds the roster, the carer’s phone and the invoices.

  3. Leave things clearer

Document decisions and build for the next release, with versioned infrastructure and a repeatable path to production.

How you’ll grow

  • Across disciplines

Design, engineering, applied AI and cloud sit together, so you can learn the parts next to your own.

  • Reviewed by senior people

Work is reviewed by people who have built and run software for years, with time to talk the feedback through.

  • Past the launch

Our own products mean you see releases, support and upgrades, not only the first build.

Ways to work with us

Not only full-time roles.

What we look for

The skills our work needs.

You don’t need all of these. Depth in one area, and curiosity about the others, matters more.

Product design ↗

  • Research and journey mapping with real users
  • Interface design for web and mobile
  • Design systems that engineers can build from

Software engineering ↗

  • TypeScript, React and React Native
  • Back ends in Go, Node.js or Python
  • APIs, data models and permissions

Applied AI ↗

  • Document and knowledge workflows
  • Evaluation sets built from real examples
  • Designs that keep a person in charge

Cloud and delivery ↗

  • AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitoring, recovery and support

Email admin@cirlume.co.uk with “Careers” and the role or kind of work in the subject line.

  2. Show your work

Attach a CV and link to a portfolio, case studies or code. A few pieces you can talk about are better than many.

The work you want to do next, how you like to work, and whether you have the right to work in the UK.

  4. Talk it through

If there is a fit, we arrange a conversation about your work, then a practical exercise or review that respects your time.

Common questions

Questions about joining.

Do you hire graduates?

Yes. Graduates and interns work on real products with senior people reviewing their work. Send a portfolio, projects or code you are proud of, even if it is from your studies.

Do you work with freelancers and contractors?

Yes, for defined pieces of work. Tell us your specialism, your rates or how you prefer to work, and when you are available.

Where would I work?

Full-time roles are hybrid, with time at our office at 14 Greenfield Business Centre, Holywell, and days working from home.

We are an agency. Can we partner with you?

We are open to it when the skills sit next to ours. Tell us what you do, the clients and sectors you work with, and the kind of projects you have in mind.

Think you’d fit? Introduce yourself.

Use the contact form or write to admin@cirlume.co.uk. A few links to work you’re proud of matter more than a long CV.
