The studio / Cirlume

A studio for the parts that have to work together.

Design, engineering and delivery in one team, for businesses in the UK and Middle East. We build our own products too.

The team

Senior people, close to the work.

Background
Years of building and running software used by millions of people, where uptime and data protection were never optional.
How we work
Senior people lead every engagement. The people who scope your product are the people who design and build it.
Where
Based in Holywell, North Wales, and working with businesses across the United Kingdom and the Middle East.

Why we exist

Software people can depend on.

Purpose
Build software that the people using it every day can depend on: the coordinator on a busy morning, the carer between visits, the finance team at month end.
Mission
Design, build and run digital products for businesses in the UK and the Middle East, and run products of our own so we keep learning what software needs after launch.

What we believe

A product is a set of promises to the people who rely on it.

We take those promises seriously. That means understanding the everyday workflow, making interfaces that explain themselves, and building systems that can be operated and changed with confidence.

01

Start with context

Understand the people, constraints and existing tools. In home care, that meant a coordinator, a carer and a family all looking at the same visit.

02

Think in systems

Design the visible journey and the structure behind it. In SoulCare, one visit record feeds the roster, the carer’s phone and the invoices.

03

Leave things clearer

Document decisions and build for the next release, with versioned infrastructure and a repeatable path to production.

Why work with us

What you can expect.

  1. The people you meet do the work

Senior people scope the product, then design and build it. Nothing is passed to a team you haven’t met.

  2. We run our own products

SoulCare and SimRhythm keep us dealing with releases, support and upgrades after launch, not only the build.

  3. One team for the whole problem

Design, engineering, AI and cloud sit together, so decisions don’t get lost between agencies.

  4. Scopes in writing

Each stage has agreed outputs before it starts, and any change to the scope is written down.

  5. You own what we build

Code, cloud accounts and data stay in your name, with handover notes your team can actually use.

Our story

Built by people who run software.

The people behind Cirlume spent years building and running software used by millions, where uptime and data protection were never optional. The studio brings that experience to founders, product teams and organisations whose software supports a real operation.

The shape of an engagement changes; the habit doesn’t. Make the important decisions visible, test them in working software, and keep the people who will use and run it in the conversation.

We also design, build and run our own products: SoulCare for home-care providers and SimRhythm for medical education. Running our own software keeps us honest about what a product needs after launch.

Common questions

About the studio.

Where is the studio based?

In Holywell, North Wales. We work with businesses across the United Kingdom and the Middle East.

Who will we work with?

Senior people lead every engagement. The people who scope your product are the people who design and build it.

How does a project usually start?

With a fixed first stage: discovery, a prototype or a technical review with agreed outputs. You decide what comes next with something concrete in hand.

Why do you build products of your own?

Running SoulCare and SimRhythm means releases, support and upgrades after launch are our problem too, which shapes how we build for clients.
